Inauguration of New Buildings for TNFRS

On 22.01.2021, The Honourable Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Thiru. Edappadi K. Palaniswami inaugurated the following newly constructed buildings of Tamil Nadu Fire and Rescue Services Department through video conferencing.

1. District Office of Central Chennai City with headquarters Fire and Rescue Station at Kilpauk

2. District Office of South Chennai City with headquarters Fire and Rescue Station at Ashok Nagar 

3. Vanur Fire and Rescue Station (Villupuram District)

4. RS Mangalam Fire and Rescue Station (Ramanathapuram District)

5. Vasudevanallur Fire and Rescue Station (Tenkasi District)

6. Kulachal Fire and Rescue Station (Kanyakumari District)

7. Quarters for Officers and staffs at Gudalur, Ooty

This is the first time in the state of Tamil Nadu that the South and Chennai City Central  District Offices have been constructed as a model Head quarters buildings accomodating the District Office, Fire and Rescue station along with training gallery and bays to house all the vehicles including Aerial Ladder Platform Vehicle.
