Fire Mock Drill in High Rise Buildings

Tamil Nadu Fire and Rescue Services Department conducts various mock drills to reduce fire accidents in high-rise buildings. On 08.12.2020,

A fire and rescue operations mock drill was conducted using  Aerial Ladder Platform Vehicle of 104 meters and 54 meters at the Oceanic Hiranandini, one of the tallest buildings in Siruseri, Chengalpattu District. As a part of mock exercise, periodical Training was imparted to Fireman driver, Fireman Mechanics to operate Aerial Ladder Platform. This one week training program is conducted by Technicians from Brijbasi Hi Tech Udyog Ltd, Delhi. Demonstration includes deploying Aerial Ladder Platform Vehicle to rescue the people from fire and other accidents in high rise buildings.

Director, Tamil Nadu Fire and Rescue Services DGP. Thiru. M.S. Jaffar Sait, IPS supervised the performances and demonstrations given by fire personnel. Joint Director, State Training Centre, Join Director Northern Region, Deputy Director North West Region and District Officer Kanchipuram were present at the event.
