Cyclone ‘Nivar’ – Readiness for rescue and relief operations

Cyclone ‘Nivar’ over the South-West Bay of Bengal is expected to barrel into the Karaikal-Mamallapuram coast around Puducherry late in the evening on 25.11.2020, according to the India Meteorological Department.

Tamil Nadu Fire and Rescue Services Department personnel have been deployed/put on alert across all the districts of Tamil Nadu to deal with the impact of the Cyclone.
