Chief Minister inaugurated new Fire Stations of TNFRS

Based on the 110 announcement on the floor of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly, The Honourable Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Thiru. M. K. Stalin inaugurated the following 12 Fire and Rescue Stations and upgradation of 4 Fire and Rescue Stations of Tamil Nadu Fire and Rescue Services Department through video conferencing on 10.04.2023 at a total cost of Rs. 20.13 crores.

 

New Fire and Rescue Stations

1.         Kolathur – Chennai Suburban District

2.         Kalavakkam – Chengalpattu District

3.         Kannamangalam – Tiruvanamalai District

4.         Attayampatti – Salem District

5.         Uthukuli – Tirupur District

6.         Anniyur – Villupuram District 

7.         Vaiyampatti – Tiruchirappalli District

8.         Komaratchi – Cuddalore District

9.         Nainarpalayam – Kallakurichi District

10.     Thiruparankundram – Madurai District

11.     Ilaiyangudi – Sivaganga District

12.     Ezhayiram Pannai – Virudhunagar District 

 

Upgradation of new Fire and Rescue Stations

1.         Tambaram – Chennai South

2.         Sivakasi – Virudhunagar District 

3.         Ranipet – Ranipet District

4.         Hosur – Krishnagiri District

 

The Director of Tamilnadu Fire and Rescue Services, DGP Mr. Abhash Kumar IPS cut ribbon for the new fire station at Kolathur after the Honourable CM’s inauguration.  Additional Director (Operation & Training) Mr. S. Vijayasekar, Joint Director, Northern Region Tmt. N. Priya Ravichandran,  District Officer, Chennai North Mr. P. Loganathan were present during the ceremony.
