Demonstration on fire fighting at “Springfield Matriculation & Higher Secondary School” by Ashok Nagar Fire Station Personals
On 17-02-2005 at 2.30 pm Mr.Rajesh Khannan ,station fire officer Ashok Nagar have conducted a training programme in fire fighting and rescue operations in the school premises. They were Explained causes of various fire accidents viz. paper, gas leakages, power short circuit.
A demonstration also given about various methods of putting out the fire viz
“Starvation method, Blanketing method and cooling Method.”.
Total eight fire and rescue personnel were participated in that demonstration. The teachers and all the pupils were quick aware of fire fighting and rescue operations
On 18th December 2004, Fire drill and safety awareness classes were conducted for safety volunteers at Annai Terasa Nagar, Raja Annamalai Puram. 14 safety volunteers participated and benefited.
